Meeting with EUROPOL and EUROJUST
On 5 July 2010 Mr. Anton Travner, Acting Head of the PCC SEE Secretariat, and Mr. Thomas Pepper, Senior Advisor at the PCC SEE Secretariat, met with the top management of Europol and Eurojust, within the preparatory meeting of the implementation of the OG (EC funded project) on Joint Investigation Teams in the Southeast European region.
The common understanding about the participation of EUROPOL and EUROJUST in the project was one of the outcomes of the meeting. After an extensive discussion the draft agenda for the project (aims, goals and procedure) as well as the dates for 3 Workshops, organised by the PCC SEE Secretariat, were agreed upon. The foreseen workshops will therefore take place as follows:
o 1st WS in Ljubljana, 28 September - 1 October 2010
o 2nd WS in Sofia, 26-28 October 2010
o 3rd WS Bucharest, 23-25 November 2010
o 1st WS in Ljubljana, 28 September - 1 October 2010
o 2nd WS in Sofia, 26-28 October 2010
o 3rd WS Bucharest, 23-25 November 2010
A decision was also made to meet again in the beginning of September and December 2010 to discuss other aspects of the project, such as the preparation and outcomes of the workshops.
