3rd Meeting of the Surveillance Expert Network for Southeast Europe within the PCC SEE and the Training on the use of EUROPOL Platform for Experts (EPE)

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina - The 3rd Meeting of the Surveillance Expert Network for Southeast Europe within the PCC SEE and the Training on the use of EUROPOL Platform for Experts (EPE) convened under the auspices of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Chairmanship-In-Office and with support from the PCC SEE Secretariat, took place from 28-30 April 2014 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Meeting and Training were attended by nationally appointed SENSEE members, the nationally appointed Content managers, SENSEE Chair and EUROPOL. The participants shared experience and discussed recent developments in the field of cross-border surveillance. In continuation they engaged in the practical use of the EPE and got familiarised with the knowledge base work methodology. They also identified the information that will be exchanged via the EPE and confirmed the time-frame for future SENSEE activities. This will further support the creation of the knowledge base on cross-border surveillance and also provide all PCC SEE Contracting parties with a platform for exchange of knowledge and experience as well as encourage communication between professionals working in the field of cross-border surveillance.
