3rd Workshop on Police Cooperation

On 28 September - 30 September 2009 the European Commission organised a Workshop on Police Cooperation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event was organised in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of Interior and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and support of the PCC SEE Secretariat, with the aim to enhance police cooperation between the Contracting Parties to the Police Cooperation Convention for Southeast Europe. In attendance were representatives from all eight Contracting Parties, Germany, France, EUROPOL, EUROJUST, UNODC and SECI Center. 
 
The objectives of the Workshop on Police Cooperation were the following:
-        Analysing the provisions of the Convention related to police operations and special investigation methods;
-        Discussing Key Recommendations and Action Plan, necessary for the implementation of the Convention;
-        Assessing good practices of the international partners in selected fields related to police operations and special investigation methods.
