Expert Mission of the Implementation of Articles 14 and 15 PCC SEE

The Expert Mission was convened within the framework of the Police Cooperation Convention for Southeast Europe (PCC SEE), and executed by Contracting Parties and Federal Ministry of the Interior of Austria with the support of PCC SEE Secretariat, bringing together the national experts of Albania for special investigation techniques and surveillance in order to assist Albania in the implementation of bilateral agreements on Cross-border Surveillance and Controlled Delivery (Article 14 abd 15 PCC SEE).

A review of specific practical and operational aspects of police cooperation in the field of Cross-border Surveillance and Controlled Delivery were done in order to detect possible difficulties and to examine the way to solve them in compliance with EU standards.

The participants discussed the provisions of the Albanian Law on Police to Police Operations and Training Methods and bi- and multilateral implementation agreements as well as made an assessment of good practices of Austria and other EU countries in the selected fields of the Surveillance Unit.
