Belgrade, 21-22 June 2022 - as a result of ongoing cooperation in the framework of EMPACT 2022 Migrant Smuggling Operational Action 5.4 JET and the ISF Project SCOPE, the German Federal Police and the PCC SEE Secretariat organised a Conference on Mobile Police Apps and Mobile Device Management in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, on 21-22 June 2022, with the aim of strengthening Common Operational Partnerships, particularly in the Western Balkans region.
 
The conference brought together representatives of law enforcement agencies from the 12 PCC SEE Contracting Parties, Europol, Frontex, ENLETS (The European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services), German Federal Police and respective companies from the industry in order to present their experiences, solutions and latest developments in the field of mobile police applications and device management.

A particular focus was given to the advantages of using smart police mobile applications and devices, as well as on possible solutions for the implementation of such technologies in interested law enforcement agencies of the PCC SEE Contracting Parties.
