4th Meeting of the TWG on Surveillance Expert Network for Southeast Europe (SENSEE)

Budapest, Hungary - The fourth meeting of the Surveillance Expert Network for Southeast Europe within the PCC SEE took place between 26 and 27 February in Budapest, Hungary. The meeting was conveyed on the initiative of the Hungarian Chairmanship-In-Office, SENSEE Chair and the PCC SEE Secretariat. The meeting was attended by members of the SENSEE, representatives from EUROPOL and, for the first time, the representative of the Covert Surveillance Working Group.

The meeting provided the participants an opportunity to exchange information on specific methods of surveillance activities, and to address the future activities of the group. In this regard, the participants identified the priority areas for further discussion and exchange of expertise and also attended to some of the group’s administrative issues, namely the selection of a new SENSEE Chair and confirmation of a work plan for the next period.
